Leading European renewable company looking for a Head of Production Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting

About your team

OX2 are growing quickly and we are now looking for a Head of Production Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting to our Technical and Commercial Management team.

   • This role will be working closely to the Managing Director TCM to manage all processes and employees within the team. The person is responsible for managing the day-to-day business by working closely with the RAMs team as well as with the Head of Commercial Management and the Head of Technical Management to provide advice and to manage the contact with different parties and stakeholders together with the Managing Director.  
   • Direct HR responsibility for all members of the RAMs team.
   • Part of the OX2 TCM Management Team
   • Lead and conduct production focused analytics and ensure that all data needed for our work is available and accessible.  

You will be based with our team in our offices, preferably in Stockholm, Mora or Östersund.

About your role


Analytics and data management
   • Perform production analytics on the assets we manage
   • Develop or source new tools for analytics to develop our capabilities
   • Ensure that new assets are being set up in our systems and are ready for COD
   • Support with error handling in our monitoring system and our communication and data management
   • Develop our support organization together with the IT-department to ensure efficient troubleshooting

Team leading
   • Lead improvement of processes, the product and the implementation of product delivery from the RAMs team on a continuous basis.  
   • Cooperate in the development of other processes regarding interfaces between the RAMs team and other teams 
   • Acting and leading the efforts to enhance the team’s knowledge. Spread of information and knowledge between the team members, arranging team meetings and/or discussions as required.
   • Coordinate knowledge feedback and know-how into the whole OX2 organization. 
   • To make sure the knowledge level is being kept up to date and improving to maintain “best in class” in the relevant discipline.
   • Coordinate and steer what the team members are spending their efforts on short term, long term, project wise and discipline related improvement. Follow up progress, workload levels, results and make sure the results are implemented and communicated as required.
   • Optimize procedures for quality assurance within the team’s area of expertise and ensure that it is being used by the team.
   • Evaluate the need for resources to manage the deliverables from the RAMS team in cooperation with MD. 
   • Participation in recruitments of new staff to the teams as regards to role set up, candidate review and the long-term hiring plan.
   • Introduce and onboard consultants and new employees to routines as required.

Strategy and Management
   • Assist MD in the strategy work for the RAMS-area. 
   • Support sales efforts of TCM-related services. 
   • Coordinate, support and lead renegotiations of supplier contracts within the RAMs field. 
   • Be on-call certain weekends and nights (Is shared within the management team, should be in total less than <25% of the time per person) for emergency situations

External qualifications
   • Most likely at least 5 years of experience working with the area covered by the team’s discipline.
   • University degree within Science
   • Solid experience in the area covered by the team’s discipline.
   • Proven ability to lead people
   • Fluent in English and Swedish

Additional skills 
   • Good project management and organizational skills to organize OX2 team and external parties 
   • Analytical skills to interpret and independently analyse production and operations data and errors (Scada, CMS, Baze) with the ability to lead our analytics work   
   • Strong knowledge of top-scada systems like Bazefield, Breeze etc. (preferably Bazefield) 
   • Programming skills in Python
   • Understanding of how a wind park works on a systematic level and ideally some special skills on WTG and/or grid (e.g. from a consultancy, a WTG producer, utility, O&M company, etc.)  
   • Understanding of commercial reasoning that drive a wind park e.g. how operations influence revenues, costs and cash
