About the job

As a Development Project Manager you are responsible for managing and optimizing the development of multiple projects from project idea until fully developed project. This includes responsibility for permitting related matters during sales and construction, lead the project teams and managing stakeholders. Your responsibilities will be:

• Set budget and time plan and manage the project to secure good quality.
• Lead cross functional project teams.
• Stakeholder Management – set communication plan and secure good relationships with concerned stakeholders such as Municipality, authorities, local associations, residents and land owners.
• Set development strategy for the project to in order to optimize the development depending on the project conditions.
• Manage risks throughout the project development in order to act proactive and secure a project that is constructible and attractive to the market.
• Manage and procure services from external consultants.
• Secure relevant permits for the project (Land Use Plan, Building permits, Environmental Impact Assessment etc.)
• Together with Grid and Control Engineer secure grid connection permits and Grid Connection Agreement with the connecting utility. 
• Together with Land Manager secure land access. 

About you

You are a team player with a good problem-solving ability and delivery-oriented mindset that can handle parallel workstreams while managing budget and time plan. Further we believe that you are humble, diplomatic and strong at building relationships and communicating with a variety of stakeholders. You are up to date with relevant legislation and the market in general.

Requirements for the position:

• Several years of experience working as a Project Manager or Consultant, preferably within Wind, Solar or Power to X.
• Experience from the energy sector, preferably wind power or electrical grid, and/or fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment is meriting.
• Minimum a bachelor’s degree, most likely in engineering, environmental science/law or any other related area.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English
• Good skills with the MS Office package in general.

It's a plus: 

• Leadership- and management team experience in any form
• Project method education and knowledge (i.e. PPS, Lean and Agile methods) 
• Additional language, especially Finnish
