About the job

As a Head of Public Affairs, you will create and drive the public affairs strategy for Finland based on OX2’s strategy, together with the Head of Communications Finland and Group Communications team. It would be your responsibility to monitor and analyse regulatory and policy decision making and its consequences to OX2 in Finland and arrange engagement activities and proactive advocacy with relevant stakeholders to deliver OX2 message. You probably have the networks and knowledge of both national Finnish as well as EU regulatory initiatives to identify with business opportunities and risks in the market. You are ready to get involved and help position OX2 in Finland to external stakeholders with both writing and presenting skills. You want to be part of a growth environment, close to the business and support your team members beyond your own job description. The Head of Public Affairs reports to the Head of Communication in Finland and is part of the OX2 public affairs network within the OX2 Group.

About you

For this position we want you to have:

• Experience in politics or regulatory, governmental or public affairs
• Knowledge and/or interest in energy and green transition
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent relationship management and networking skills
• Excellent Finnish and English language skills, Swedish is a plus

As a person we expect you to have excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external counterparties across all levels and across diverse cultures. Further on, this position puts high demand on your planning and organising skills. We expect you to be proactive and enthusiastic as a person with a can-do attitude and a drive for high standards.
