About the People team

In May 2019 OX2 recruited a Head of People to start the work to build a fantastic People team that supports the business in the best way possible. As there is so much great work to do and further build on, the team is expanding and adding their second member, our People Generalist. We are looking forward to having you onboard as soon as possible!


About your role

In the role as our first People Generalist you will be given, and expected, to want to take responsibility. In fact, you should love it! With responsibility you grow, and this should be something that interests you as the business we are in, large scale renewables, is booming! As this role has not been around before, you are also part of creating it. In general, it is a broad role. Below is a try to conclude some of the aspects of the role:

•   Be an active member and contributor to the People team as well as support the development of the company through the People team

•   Desire to take responsibility to be the go-to person for multiple areas in the People team, such as employer branding, recruitment (ATS), HRIS, etc.

•   Support the daily operational People tasks including handling of employee relations, reviewing and updating policies and procedures, etc

•   Be part of end-to-end recruitment, ensuring a positive candidate experience with both successful and unsuccessful candidates in order to grow the organization

•   Partnering with and supporting line managers to coach and guide around employee relations' issues, appraisal best practice and maximizing employee engagement

•   Strengthening the organizational culture and improving trust, drawing on information from own assessment methodology and survey results, ensuring that OX2 values are lived and embedded in people practices and acting on employee feedback

•   Good understanding of current labor law regulations and practices


About you

•   Most likely a couple of years’ experience of working broad with business related HR, talent management, recruitment and/or similar. Perhaps even more important and interest to work in most common People areas.

•   Experience in acting in a modern and agile People function where flexibility is key

•   A passion for people with the ability to work as part of a larger team to achieve the common organisational goal

•   Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners by conveying messages in a trustful and professional manner

•   Good problem-solving ability due to the fast paced and continuously evolving (People) landscape and courage to try and experiment in a sound way

•   Minimum a bachelor’s degree, most likely in HR, Economics, or any other business-related area

•   Fluent in Swedish and in English

•   Good skills with the MS Office package in general

Our workplace

The majority of our staff are graduates in finance/business administration, energy, engineering and the environment. With many years’ experience of establishing wind power, our tasks include securing contracts for land, planning permission and environmental permits, project design, financing, procurement and construction as well as commercial and technical management.
