Construction Project Manager – Renewable Energy

We are looking for a skilled and driven Construction Project Manager (CPM) to join our Construction Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of renewable energy projects from Financial Close or Ready-to-Build until Commercial Operation Date. Your mission is to ensure that projects are delivered according to set goals, specifications, and OX2's policies, instructions, and code of conduct.

As a Construction Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on onshore wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. As OX2 expands into new markets, you will also be expected to travel to project sites beyond your home country. This role involves approximately 25% travel to project locations, along with occasional international trips for company events and training sessions.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee project execution during the Realization and Construction phases, ensuring timelines, budget, and quality standards are met.
• Manage the construction CAPEX and project time schedule under the supervision of the Realization Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sustainability, and environmental (HSSE) requirements.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including internal staff and external contractors.
• Engage with stakeholders such as landowners, municipalities, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage contract negotiations and ensure interfaces between contracts are well-defined and coordinated.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks and update risk registers accordingly.
• Conduct regular project reporting and provide updates on budget, progress, and potential risks.
• Ensure successful project handover from Realization to Construction and later to Operations and Asset Management.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

• Extensive experience in project and construction management within the renewable energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes for wind, solar PV, and energy storage projects.
• Expertise in budgeting, CAPEX management, and project risk assessment.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Romanian.
• Familiarity with health, safety, sustainability, and environmental (HSSE) regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Experience within the following areas is valuable but not required:

• Sales process for renewable energy projects.
• Quality assurance and contract management.
• Grid connection processes and regulatory frameworks.
