About the role 
OX2 is looking for a Financial Manager/Accountant who can help us manage the financials of our customers' Finnish wind farms, as well as OX2 IPP's. You will be important part of our accounting team and responsible for managing some wind farms with the help of our other Finnish and Swedish team members. 

Main tasks: 

• Ongoing communication with our customers  
• Bookkeeping  
• Reporting to customers, banks, and authorities  
• Budgeting and forecasting  
• Annual closing and annual report  
• VAT reporting  
• Communication with our clients' accountants, tax experts, legal advisors and auditors 
• Income tax calculations and returns 
• Company formalities e.g. meeting minutes 
  

About you 
We believe that you are a self-driven person who values delivering high quality in everything you do. You have already worked for a few years with accounting and reporting. We want you to be analytical and curious to learn new things and good at communicating in both Finnish and English. This position requires some travelling within Finland and Sweden (our headquarter is in Stockholm).  

Your qualifications, characteristics, and experience: 

• University degree or equivalent in Finance or accounting 
• At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting and corporate taxation 
• Experience and knowledge of Finnish Accounting Standard (FAS) 
• Analytical, positive, curious and solution-oriented mindset 
• Good language skills in both Finnish and English, both orally and in writing. Swedish is meritorious. 
• Good knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel 

Experience in the following areas is seen as a merit: 

• Experience working in accounting firms 
• Experience from the wind power industry, the real estate industry, or the energy sector 
• Working with implementing a new ERP system (IFS) 
• IFRS 
• KLT
