Overview of the Role

As the Head of Business Control & Corporate Planning, you will lead the daily work within the team and report to the CFO. The role includes personnel responsibility for the business controlling team and overall responsibility for driving and developing processes within business control, forecasting, budgeting, and continuously evaluating the group’s capital allocation and risk exposure. You will work closely with the executive management team and country managers and have an overarching responsibility for the budgeting process and ongoing business follow-up. The role is based at the headquarters in Gamla Stan, Stockholm.

Main Responsibilities

In this role your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the group-level budget process and ensuring it is coordinated with business planning.
• Leading business performance monitoring in relation to financial and operational goals.
• Ongoing forecasting work.
• Strategic and financial simulations related to major investment decisions and acquisitions.
• Monthly reviews and business management with business area managers.
• Overall responsibility for project governance (from a financial perspective) and project follow-up.
• Overall ownership of the development portfolio and business monitoring in PowerBI.
• Participation in the implementation and development of the budgeting and forecasting tool OneStream, the ERP system IFS Cloud, and the BI tool PowerBI.
• Leading and developing the business control function.
• Acting as a sparring partner to the CFO.
  

Experience

To succeed in this role, you have 8–12 years of relevant work experience from a similar role. You hold a university degree in business administration and have strong accounting knowledge. Experience leading teams, strategic controlling, and business planning is highly beneficial. Excellent MS Excel skills are required, and experience with Power BI is considered an asset. You are fluent in both Swedish and English.
