Reports to: Head of Group Business Controlling
About the role
As Group Business Controller, you will play a central part in ensuring operational excellence of OX2. You will work closely with the Head of Group Business Control, CFO, and Country Controlling organizations to deliver clear, data-driven insights that improve profitability, strengthen internal control, and support the company’s continued growth. You will also prepare and analyze reports for the Executive Management Team and Board of Directors, and be a trusted key business partner across the organization.
Key responsibilities
Lead monthly closing activities including analysis and follow-up of OX2 Group’s P&L, cash flow, project investments, and KPIs
Prepare management reports, driving the management reporting agenda in collaboration with key stakeholders
Manage the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, contributing to the implementation of OX2’s new planning and budgeting system
Track and analyze key business drivers (KPIs) and benchmarks to deliver actionable insights for decision-making
Support long-term financial modelling and ad-hoc analyses for the Executive Management Team and Head of Group Business Control
Drive process improvements within reporting, forecasting, and internal control together with the wider Finance team
About you
You have a solid background as Business Controller with a strong analytical mindset, thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment, and enjoy working close to the business. You are confident in navigating complex data and can translate financial insights into strategic actions.
We believe you have:
A university degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
Several years of experience from business control, group reporting, or financial analysis, preferably in an international or project-based organization
Solid understanding of financial processes, budgeting, and management reporting
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with planning/reporting systems is an advantage
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English (Swedish is a plus)
A big interest in or experience from working with implementation of new systems and/or tools to support the business controlling as a function.
